This article introduces a easy way to make your own skin by using Photoshop.
The version which author used is Photoshop CS5 Trail Traditional Chinese, I am not sure if you could follow this guide by using CS4 or lower.

1. After you download both files, Texture(.jpg) and Model(.obj) from Skin DIY, start Photoshop.
ps01

2. Create new files, the dimension is up to you, it doesn't matter.
ps02

3. Select the "3D" and click "Create Layer From 3D files".
ps03

4. Please select the Model(.obj) file that you just downloaded. For example, I use cop caitlyn here, so I selected the file "caitlyn_cop.obj".
ps04

5. Now you could see the model in your Photoshop.
ps05

6. Then we open the "3D" toolbox.
ps06

7. And select the default texture「__PS_3D_Default」
ps07

8. Click "Load Texture"
ps08

9. Select the Texture(.jpg) file: I selected "caitlyn_cop.jpg" here.
ps09

10. You can see the model with texture mapping.
ps10

11 Click the "Open Texture" on the texture right side.
ps11

12. You would get a new file which is the texture, and we use "Layers", "duplicate layer" to get a copy.
ps12

13. Now I try to *make up* her leg, so I use the "Spot Healing Brush tool" the make the belt disappear.
ps13

14. Return to the 3D view window, you will find that the texture is re-rendered. The belt on her leg disappers.
ps14

15. I rotate the model that you could check the belt clearly. Also uou can use the tools to zoom in, zoom out, move, and rotate the model.
ps15

A simple guide which using Photoshop to modify skin is ended :p
